Actress Kim Jung Eun surprised viewers by revealing her current weight. During a broadcast marking her return as an MC, the topic of dieting arose, leading her to disclose her weight. She drew laughter with a candid confession that she seeks out squid when dieting because she "needs something to chew on."
Kim made a grand return as an MC in the first episode of MBN's Queenmaker, which aired on the 27th. She shared her feelings about stepping into the MC role after a long time, saying, "I am not a queen, but I walked the Queen's Road. It felt as if I had become a queen."

The broadcast featured discussions regarding the dieting experiences of the cast and challengers. Actress Lee Young Ah confessed that her weight exceeded 80kg during her middle school years and revealed that she is currently 70kg. An expert explained that women cannot avoid the influence of hormonal changes due to childbirth and menopause.
Kim agreed, noting that weight management has become increasingly important as she gets older. During the show, a challenger appeared who was known by the nickname 'Hongeun-dong Sung Yu Ri' in her 20s. When it was mentioned that she was 175cm tall and weighed 55kg back then, Kim drew attention by revealing, "I am 55kg right now."
The challenger's current appearance has changed significantly. She revealed that her weight increased continuously after her 40s and that she had even tried various diet pills. Although she once managed to drop her weight to the 80kg range, she stated that her weight increased again after suffering from lethargy. Her current weight is 106.7kg, with a waist circumference of 50.3 inches.
While watching the challenger eat, Kim shared her own dieting experiences. "I can endure everything when I diet, but I need to chew," she said, adding, "I start eating thinking I will only have a little bit of squid." The problem came afterward. "Then it's gone. I end up eating it all," she confessed, revealing the realistic struggles of dieting.
Weight loss is not simply a matter of reducing numbers, but a process of reflecting on lifestyle habits and health. In the broadcast, the story of the challenger was revealed, who has suffered from high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, a herniated disc, and knee arthritis. Kim, having returned as an MC, drew empathy from viewers by candidly disclosing her current weight and management experiences.
