Kim Jung-min boasts of his three sons' success: 'My eldest has idol visuals'
Singer Kim Jung-min shares updates on his three sons, including his eldest son's idol-like looks and his second son's soccer career in Japan.
Singer Kim Jung-min expressed his immense pride as a father by sharing updates on his three sons. He revealed that his eldest son, blessed with handsome looks and a tall stature of 186cm, has even received interest from the entertainment industry; his second son is a soccer player; and his third son is excelling academically.

The MBC variety program 'Radio Star' aired on the 22nd as a 'Now Wipe Away the Tears' special, featuring guests Kim Jung-min, actor Kim Young-kwang, soccer player Lee Seung-woo, and singer Jung Seung-hwan.
During the broadcast, MC Jang Do Yeon teased Kim Jung-min about his "bountiful harvest" of children, noting, "I heard your lifelong farming has resulted in a bountiful harvest." Kim Jung-min smiled, responding, "From a parent's perspective, I don't think there is any greater happiness than seeing your children succeed."
Kim Jung-min married his Japanese wife Rumiko in 2006 and has three sons. He could not hide his joy, stating, "I am happiest when I am talking about my children."
He showed particular pride regarding his eldest son.
"People around me say a lot about how good-looking my first son is," he joked, drawing laughter by adding, "I guess he took after me by nature."
In a photo of the eldest son released during the show, his sharp features and tall physique caught the eye. His 186cm height and idol-like appearance captivated viewers.
Kim Jung-min revealed, "He has received casting offers from dating programs featuring celebrity children, and even entertainment agencies have contacted him."
However, he explained that the eldest son chose music over entering the entertainment industry.
He shared his current status, saying, "After quitting sports, he is currently pursuing music, and he is enrolled in the Practical Music department at Soongsil University."
The second son is continuing his talent in the field of sports.
Kim Jung-min shared, "The second son, who is one year apart from the first, is playing as a soccer player in Japan. He also previously played for the Republic of Korea U-17 youth national team." He explained that the son is currently continuing his athletic career in Japan to pursue his dreams.
He also revealed that the youngest son is excelling in his academics.
Kim Jung-min boasted, "The third son went to study in Japan following the family. After becoming a middle school student, he took an exam at an academy and ranked 25th out of 1,400 students, even among top-performing students."
The fact that the three sons are walking their own paths in different fields—music, sports, and academics—drew significant interest.
Kim Jung-min debuted in 1994 and has been loved for numerous hit songs such as 'Sad Covenant,' 'Last Promise,' and 'Rain (悲).' Recently, he has remained active through various broadcasts and performances.
