KISS OF LIFE Belle reveals childhood fight with brother

Belle, a member of the group KISS OF LIFE, revealed a childhood anecdote about a major fight she had with her older brother. The cast members were surprised by the relatable sibling episode that took place while her father, singer Shim Sin, was away from home.

Belle appeared as a special MC on the KBS 2TV show "Mr. House Husband Season 2" aired on the 8th, where she shared stories about her family.

In this episode, the show highlighted the relationship between Park Seo-jin and Park Hyo-jung, who display a strangely tight-knit yet bickering sibling dynamic. Watching this, Belle also brought up the story of her own brother.

"I also have an older brother," Belle said, "and we fought a lot when I was young."

She then confessed that during one of those childhood fights, "I even got slapped by my brother."

The unexpected confession caused a stir in the studio. Eun Ji-won immediately looked at Belle and reacted, "By your brother? Where would he even hit you? Why did he hit you?" His serious reaction, appearing to worry for the younger sister, drew laughter.

Lee Yo-won empathized, saying, "Since you hit and fight each other when you're young," suggesting it was a common occurrence between siblings.

However, Belle's next words brought laughter once again.

When Eun Ji-won asked, "Did your dad know?", Belle replied, "My dad was out performing at a night venue at that time."

She was explaining that the siblings fought while Shim Sin, who was active as a singer at the time, was away from home.

Eun Ji-won didn't miss the chance and joked, "Do you get hit every time your dad goes to an event?", to which Belle nonchalantly replied, "That's right," turning the studio into a sea of laughter.

Of course, Belle's story was more of a memory of siblings bickering during their childhood. However, as the ordinary family scene behind the glamorous celebrity family was revealed, it added a sense of relatability.

Belle is also a singer who inherited her father Shim Sin's musical talent. As a member of KISS OF LIFE, she demonstrates not only outstanding vocal abilities but also songwriting skills.

Belle also revealed that she began composing in middle school and has created about 1,000 songs to date. She is steadily proving her musical capabilities without simply relying on her background as a "singer's daughter," even participating in work for Le Sserafim.
