KISS OF LIFE Belle reveals she has composed 1,000 songs since middle school

Belle, a member of the group KISS OF LIFE and daughter of singer Shim Sin, has revealed her extraordinary musical talent. As news spread that she began composing in her childhood and has created as many as 1,000 songs to date, fans have noted that she has truly inherited her father's "musical DNA."

On the episode of KBS 2TV's 'Mr. House Husband Season 2' aired on the 8th, Belle appeared as a special MC to share stories about her musical career and her family.

As the daughter of Shim Sin, conversations regarding her father and music emerged naturally. Upon seeing Belle, Eun Ji-won expressed his excitement, saying, "I grew up listening to your father's songs."

When the name of Shim Sin, a representative icon of 1990s pop music, was mentioned, Belle spoke about the musical sensibility she inherited from him. However, her talent extends far beyond being simply the "daughter of a singer"; Belle had been preparing for her path as a musician by writing her own music since childhood.

"I inherited my dad's talent, so I started composing in middle school," Belle revealed.

She explained that while performing on stage as a member of an idol group, she also works as a singer-songwriter. Notably, Belle drew attention by revealing that she has participated in music production not only for KISS OF LIFE but also for LE SSERAFIM.

The cast was shocked by her sheer volume of work.

When Park Seo-jin asked, "Then how many songs have you made so far?" Belle answered without hesitation, "I've made about a thousand songs."

This achievement is the result of steadily continuing the composition she began in middle school. Beyond simply learning music for idol activities, she has essentially been recording her thoughts and emotions through her work.

The figure of "1,000 songs" succinctly demonstrates Belle's musical growth. Regardless of whether they were officially released, she has built her own musical world through a continuous creative process of composing, refining, and rewriting numerous tracks.
