Kwanghee Says His Main Job These Days Is Selling Products

Former ZE:A member and broadcaster Kwanghee shared an unexpected update on what has been keeping him busiest lately, saying with characteristic candor that his main work these days is selling products.

On June 3, a new video titled “I Don’t Have Friends! I Just Want to Go on a Reward Vacation Together” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Halmyungsoo.” In the episode, Park Myung-soo was told by the production team that he would be given a reward vacation.

The offer, however, came with a condition. The production team told Park that he had to choose one guest who had previously appeared on “Halmyungsoo” and take that person with him on the trip. Park immediately pushed back, saying, “How is that a vacation? Isn’t that ultimately travel content?”

Despite his complaint, Park quickly called Kwanghee, with whom he is personally close. Kwanghee answered as soon as the ringtone began, then explained why he had picked up so fast: “Jin-kyung noona said you have to answer calls right away no matter what if you want work to come in.”

Asked how he had been doing, Kwanghee said he had been busy and added, “Thankfully, I’ve been getting a lot more work lately.” When Park asked what kind of work he was focusing on most these days, Kwanghee drew laughter by answering honestly, “To be honest, it’s selling products. I’m working hard on commerce.”

Park encouraged him, saying, “People must keep looking for you because you’re good at it. You have to sell something, whatever it is.” Kwanghee has recently been hosting the commerce web variety show “Halingwang,” where he introduces products from various brands at discounted prices, drawing strong interest from both consumers and the industry.

The two then continued talking about the proposed reward vacation. When Park asked whether Kwanghee would be willing to travel with him, Kwanghee readily said, “Sounds good,” and suggested a trip to Los Angeles. Park, however, hurriedly wrapped up the conversation, saying, “Do you know how much plane tickets cost? That’s a dangerous thing to say.”
