Lee Hyori's sudden question about divorce leaves Seo Jang Hoon flustered
Seo Jang Hoon was caught off guard by Lee Hyori's unexpected question during JTBC's 'Love War,' sparking laughter in the studio.
Broadcaster Seo Jang Hoon caused a wave of laughter in the studio on JTBC's 'Love War' after appearing flustered by an unexpected question from Lee Hyori. During a dating consultation, an impromptu 'Son Byeong-ho game' (a finger-folding game) began, and when a question arose that touched on his personal life, Seo ultimately bypassed the answer with an awkward laugh to move past the situation.

In the episode of the JTBC dating reality show 'Love War' aired on the 14th, a couple in a relationship despite a 12-year age gap appeared to share their conflicts.
The client brought up a topic regarding a conflict that arose when her boyfriend tried to invite her to a drinking session with his friends, but she firmly refused.
Upon hearing the story, Seo offered realistic advice by drawing from his own experience.
He said, "When you get a little older, there are times when you feel grateful just to be invited like that," adding, "And then, if no one invites you, you feel lonely," drawing empathy from the studio.
Listening to this, Lee also chimed in, saying, "That's really true. The number of people calling you keeps decreasing," naturally adding to the conversation.
Later, Ye-won, appearing as a special diplomat, revealed an anecdote from when she was dating a younger boyfriend in the past.
Ye-won recalled, "I met my boyfriend's friends, and they suddenly suggested playing an 'R-rated Son Byeong-ho game,'" and laughed as she remembered, "I was folding my fingers without even realizing it because I was afraid I would look like a total killjoy if I refused the game."
The client reacted by saying, "I can really relate," while Seo offered further realistic advice, stating, "I fully understand your position, but as you get older, you'll eventually just go out simply because they called you."
In the midst of this, Lee suddenly turned the mood around by acting playful.
She threw a sudden question at Seo, asking, "If I ask you to have a drink just the two of us around 11 PM tonight, would you come out?" Receiving this unexpected question, Seo could not hide his bewildered expression, asking, "Why are you calling me?"
At this, Ye-won wittily added, "To play the Son Byeong-ho game," which caused the scene to erupt in even more laughter.
Taking over the momentum, Lee immediately posed a question for the Son Byeong-ho game.
She asked, "Have you ever been divorced? Yes or No?" Upon receiving a question that suddenly brought his personal history to mind, Seo was momentarily speechless. After a brief silence, he simply gave an awkward laugh instead of an answer to move past the situation, filling the studio with bursts of laughter.
Following the broadcast, viewers reacted to the pleasant scene, commenting, "Lee Hyori's quick wit is truly extraordinary," "Seo Jang Hoon's expression said it all," "Ye-won's timing was perfect," and "It's a realistic counseling program, but the variety sense was also top-notch."
The bickering chemistry between the two has been a hot topic in previous broadcasts as well.
In June, while appearing on JTBC's 'Knowing Bros,' Kang Ho-dong drew laughter by saying, "Watching 'Love War,' I see Seo Jang Hoon can't move a muscle in front of Lee Hyori," and Lee Soo Geun also provided a hilarious behind-the-scenes story, saying, "I heard from the 'Love War' cast that if Lee Hyori says, 'Oppa, seriously!', Seo Jang Hoon just stays still."
'Love War' is a dating counseling variety show where Lee, Seo, and Kim Hee Chul analyze the conflicts of real couples facing breakups from various perspectives and suggest realistic solutions. Combining sincere counseling with the witty banter of the cast, the show continues to garner consistent buzz and airs every Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
