Lee Kyung-sil Raised 350 Million Won in One Day to Help Jung Sun-hee Through Crisis

Comedian Lee Kyung-sil shared that when her junior, Jung Sun-hee, faced financial difficulties following the death of her husband, Ahn Jae-hwan, Lee mobilized her entire network to raise and provide 350 million won in just one day.

On the 18th, during the MBN program ‘Body Insight,’ Lee Kyung-sil recounted how she helped Jung Sun-hee at the time, saying, “I paid a certain amount first, and Sun-hee is not the type of person who wouldn't pay it back. I told everyone, ‘Since I’m doing this, let’s all help out so we can resolve this first and save her.’”

Jung Sun-hee had previously expressed her gratitude on a YouTube channel, stating, “When the house was about to be lost, I received a call from Lee Kyung-sil unnie. At that moment, she contacted other comedian colleagues with lightning speed and gathered 350 million won for me that very day.”

Lee Kyung-sil added, “If that money hadn't been resolved, Sun-hee's life would have been extremely difficult. Since it wasn't Sun-hee's fault, I thought, ‘Let’s resolve this first.’”
