Lee Kyung-sil's Surprise 60th Birthday Party Fiasco: 'She's So Clueless'

On the 23rd, comedians Lee Kyung-sil, Jo Hye-ryun, Kim Ji-sun, and Kim Hyo-jin appeared on KBS 1TV's 'Morning Forum' for the 'With the Famous Person' segment.

Kim Hyo-jin revealed that she, along with Jo Hye-ryun and Kim Ji-sun, prepared a surprise party for Lee Kyung-sil, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday. Kim Ji-sun opened the conversation by saying, "The funny thing about this unnie is that I set a date to do a quiet surprise," noting that they had scheduled the gathering a month in advance.

However, they confessed to being flustered when Lee Kyung-sil announced the day before the appointment that she would have to cancel due to her broadcasting schedule. Lee Kyung-sil explained, "I didn't know there was a group chat preparing the surprise." Kim Ji-sun expressed her disappointment, saying to Lee Kyung-sil, "Unnie, why are you so clueless? We made a placard and even prepared the birthday cake a month ago for this gathering."

Lee Kyung-sil responded, "Then should I just pretend I don't know and show up?"

It was revealed that Kim Ji-sun, dressed in *hanbok*, was in charge of the celebratory song. The playful performance by Kim Ji-sun, recreating the song she sang at the time, drew laughter from announcers Park Cheol-gyu and Uhm Ji-in.

The four women also mentioned the play 'I Love You, Mom,' which they will perform together. Jo Hye-ryun is directing the production. Kim Ji-sun noted, "We practiced together, but since we all play different mother roles, we can't all gather at once."
