Influencer Lee Sol-yi sparks attention with recent update
Influencer Lee Sol-yi shares a candid update about her sun-tanned skin, drawing public interest following recent divorce rumors involving husband Park Sung-kwang.
Lee Sol-yi, an influencer and the wife of comedian Park Sung-kwang, shared an update on her recent life by revealing her sun-tanned face. Although it was a lighthearted anecdote, attention has once again turned to her SNS posts as she has recently been embroiled in divorce rumors.

On September 1, Lee posted a video on her social media with part of her face covered, writing, “I’m so tanned, I’ve become really tacky.” She added, “I’m finally wearing sunscreen and covering up properly,” followed by, “What’s the point of fixing the barn after the cow is lost?”
In the video, Lee appeared with a significant portion of her face covered. The post is interpreted as a casual mention of her daily life, implying she has started paying attention to UV protection after her skin was exposed to sunlight during outdoor activities this summer.
In particular, the part where Lee described her change in appearance as having become “tacky” caught people's attention. However, this is viewed as a light self-evaluation of her own style or skin condition rather than an objective reflection of her actual appearance or health.
The reason Lee's recent activities are drawing attention is the intense online interest surrounding her relationship with Park. The couple married in 2020 and has since shared their married life through broadcasts and SNS. Consequently, even a single personal post is often interpreted in connection to their relationship.
In fact, Lee was recently caught up in divorce rumors involving Park. In response, she directly clarified the situation, stating, “I am doing well without any regrets.” She also explained that her use of the phrase “a past I want to erase” was merely a bit of “hooking” when expressing her thoughts, clarifying that the expression did not signify divorce or a breakup.
She further shared her thoughts on the relationship, adding, “Nevertheless, embracing that difference is love.” Ultimately, Lee's remarks were not a confirmation of the divorce rumors, but rather an attempt to draw a line against exaggerated interpretations of her previous statements.
Since her marriage, Lee has made a name for herself by appearing on variety programs with Park and sharing content regarding fashion and daily life through her personal SNS. While she initially gained recognition as a broadcaster's spouse, she is currently expanding her influence as an independent creator.
Another point of interest in her public life is how her private daily life intersects with public scrutiny. While the SNS of celebrities and influencers is inherently a personal record, the posts of famous individuals are often scrutinized for signs of relationship changes, even down to a single sentence or photo. Especially after rumors regarding a marriage have spread, even an ordinary update can easily be assigned a different meaning.
Lee has also previously revealed that she was diagnosed with female cancer and underwent chemotherapy. As she has shared her recovery process through regular checkups and medication, her current daily life is seen as a way of recording her journey and communicating with the public.
This post, too, is closer to an honest complaint about her sun-tanned face and belated UV protection than a grand message. However, because it comes right after she addressed the recent divorce rumors, she has once again found herself at the center of attention. It remains to be seen how Lee will continue to share her private life with the public.
