Park Wi Celebrates 12 Years of Resilience; Wife Song Ji-eun Offers Support
Youtuber Park Wi shares a touching throwback video marking 12 years since his paralysis diagnosis, receiving heartfelt cheers from wife Song Ji-eun.
Youtuber Park Wi posted a video from his past to mark the 12th anniversary of his diagnosis of quadriplegia.
On the 18th, Park Wi shared a past rehabilitation video, saying, "It has already been 12 years since I was diagnosed with quadriplegia. I am starting again today to ensure that I will definitely stand up!" The footage shows Park Wi during his second year following the diagnosis.
Even though he was in a state where he could not control his body much better than he does now, he moved people with his burning passion for rehabilitation.
These days, through consistent rehabilitation exercises, he has recovered to a state where he can move his upper body.
His wife, Song Ji-eun (formerly of the girl group Secret), sent her support, saying, "My husband is so cool!" Broadcaster Park Seul-gi also offered praise, saying, "That's truly cool. Stylish Wi. You're the best!"
Park Wi went through difficult times after being diagnosed with quadriplegia due to a fall accident in the past, but he is gradually recovering his physical condition through rehabilitation treatment and constant effort.
Park Wi and Song Ji-eun married in 2024.
