Park Wi Reveals Bladder Management Struggles and Botox Treatment

On the 23rd, during the SBS variety program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny', YouTuber Park Wi and his wife Song Ji-eun, formerly of the girl group Secret, visited a urology clinic.

Park Wi visited his primary physician, stating, "Ji-eun was so worried about me that we came to see the professor."

Song Ji-eun explained the reason for their visit, saying, "Oppa doesn't sweat. I don't know exactly what that feels like, but I was afraid that not sweating while running marathons might lead to something serious."

Park Wi explained his unique situation: "Normally, humans regulate body temperature through sweat, but since I don't sweat, I retain heat in my body. I have to turn the air conditioner up high to lower my temperature or drink a lot of ice water."

The physician advised, "Your body temperature could drop suddenly. You must pace yourself well. Before and after a marathon, you must drink plenty of water. You should consume sufficient hydration even if you do not feel thirsty."

Park Wi confessed, "I know I should drink water, but because drinking too much means I have to go to the bathroom, I have developed a habit of not drinking much water to manage my bladder."

Song Ji-eun asked, "Why are you getting Botox in your bladder?" The doctor explained, "It is an intravesical Botox injection. Some people have sensitive bladders, and this treatment makes the bladder less sensitive."

The procedure is an essential treatment for Park Wi. Park Wi noted, "It is inserted through the urethra and injected directly into the bladder."
