News of the death of cartoonist Huh Young-man shook the online world, but it was not true. It is a bit embarrassing, but I think such things can happen." Regarding Huh Young-man's current status, they added, "He is continuing to recover and is receiving rehabilitation treatment well."

The rumors of Huh Young-man's death began on an online community the previous day. After a post titled 'Obituary, cartoonist Huh Young-man passes away' was uploaded and quickly shared, it led to movements to verify whether the passing was real. As it was an obituary bearing the name of a famous cartoonist, the impact online grew large in a short period of time.

However, it was reported that the obituary in question was not for Huh Young-man himself, but rather news of the passing of a person with the same name that spread incorrectly. As unverified posts spread as if they were the obituary of the person in question based solely on the name, the problem of spreading incorrect information online has once again been revealed.

Above all, attention was focused on Huh Young-man's actual health condition. In June, news that Huh Young-man was admitted to the intensive care unit due to a fall accident drew concern from fans. At that time, an official from Huh Young-man's side stated that he was transferred to the intensive care unit after being injured from a fall and was receiving treatment at the hospital.

Since then, it has been reported that Huh Young-man has been focusing on recovery and rehabilitation. This time as well, it was confirmed through an acquaintance that he is receiving rehabilitation treatment well, revealing that the death rumors spreading online were entirely different from the actual situation.

Since 2019, Huh Young-man has led TV CHOSUN's 'Huh Young Man's Food Travel,' introducing food and people from all over the country. Although the program, which continued for 7 years, has concluded Season 1, Huh Young-man is currently focusing on recovering his health rather than broadcasting activities. The fake obituary that even spread as a death rumor was not true, and Huh Young-man is currently recovering while continuing treatment and rehabilitation.
