Actress Seo Woo has shared glimpses of her daily life through YouTube, visiting various restaurants in Gangnam while candidly discussing her health and appearance.
Actress Seo Woo, who has been away from acting since the 2019 film The House, shared updates on her daily life through a YouTube video on the 23rd. While touring Gangnam restaurants, she expressed concern over facial swelling following a period of rest to recover from an autoimmune disease.

Actress Seo Woo has revealed her candid daily life through YouTube despite a long hiatus from acting. Recently, she expressed distress over her swollen face while also enjoying a series of food broadcasts at various restaurants in the Gangnam area. As she has been resting due to health issues, fans have shown keen interest in her unadorned updates.
On the 23rd, a video titled "Crushing Gangnam Station restaurants with a close unnie" was uploaded to Seo Woo's YouTube channel, "Hello, Seo Woo." Seo Woo began her meal at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant with a close older female friend. Although the plan was to eat sushi lightly before moving to the next location, the meal turned into a comfortable food broadcast with various foods and alcohol on the table.
Seo Woo revealed that she had also eaten and drank heartily at the Han River the previous day. She enjoyed a variety of foods, including spicy pork wrap sets, hongeo samhap, ramen, and Chapagetti. She explained that she was able to enjoy the outdoor meal thanks to a friend living nearby who set up camping equipment for her. Following her outing to the Han River, her daily life of exploring Gangnam restaurants appeared more like a friendly neighbor than a celebrity.
However, it was not just the food that caught Seo Woo's attention. Checking her face via a selfie at the sushi restaurant, she expressed concern over her swelling, stating, "My face, my eyes are very swollen today." Subtitles in the video indicated that her facial swelling could be seen gradually subsiding as time passed. Her honest mention of changes in her appearance revealed her unpretentious personality.
After finishing her first meal and eating buckwheat noodles, Seo Woo headed to the next location. At the second stop, she enjoyed alcohol with sundae and boiled pork as snacks, and later paired seafood with soju at a place with an old-fashioned atmosphere where several sashimi restaurants are clustered. Starting with sushi and continuing through sundae, boiled pork, and various seafood, the Gangnam restaurant tour concluded after visiting three locations.
The interest in Seo Woo's current status is heightened because she has been away from acting for a long time. Seo Woo previously revealed on a broadcast that she suffered from an autoimmune disease. At the time, she confessed, "It is a disease with weak immunity, so even a little fatigue caused inflammation," noting that she experienced inflammation in her gums and even inside her head, in addition to colds.
The reason for her hiatus was also to recover her health. Seo Woo confessed, "The reason I have been resting is that I needed time to recover my health. Because my body was sick, my mind was not healthy either." She explained that physical pain led to psychological burdens. However, last year, she drew a line against health concerns by stating, "I am so healthy now, so stop worrying." Her recent life updates on YouTube serve as a channel for fans to check on her well-being.
Having debuted in the 2007 film Son, Seo Woo drew attention with her unique acting in films such as Crush and Blush and The Housemaid, as well as the drama Cinderella's Sister. She particularly made an impression on the public with her unique atmosphere and ability to portray intense characters. Although her acting activities have been suspended since the 2019 film The House, she is currently sharing small moments of her daily life through YouTube.
Seo Woo, who has been difficult to see in public due to her long hiatus, candidly showed everything from her concern over facial swelling to her enjoyment of delicious food in this video. As she has gone through difficult times due to health issues, her sharing of daily life carries more meaning than a simple food broadcast. While her return date is not yet known, fans continue to show interest in Seo Woo as she recovers her health and continues her daily life at her own pace.
