Accuser of Yang Hong-won claims police are responding to false reports
An individual who raised allegations of infidelity against rapper Yang Hong-won has claimed that police are being dispatched due to false reports mistaking them for a wanted person. The controversy has intensified as Yang Hong-won's agency denies the claims and a third party has emerged with accusations against the original accuser.

An individual who alleged infidelity involving rapper Yang Hong-won on the 23rd claims they are being falsely reported to police as a wanted person. While Yang Hong-won's agency denied the affair by stating the rapper was intoxicated and seeking a place to sleep, a separate individual has accused the accuser of attempting to extort money.
An individual, referred to as A, who raised allegations of infidelity regarding rapper Yang Hong-won, has expressed distress after police were dispatched, claiming they are being reported by people who mistake them for a wanted person. The controversy is becoming increasingly complex as Yang Hong-won's side has denied the infidelity allegations, claiming the disclosure was maliciously edited, and additional claims surrounding the accuser have emerged.

On the 25th, A posted photos on their Instagram Story showing police officers arriving at the scene. "I can't even eat out anymore. I am not a wanted person. Please stop reporting me," A wrote, expressing discomfort. A further countered the suspicions surrounding them by claiming, "The person targeting me is an illegal fraudster."
A also announced a response to the reporter. "I plan to counter-report after disclosing the reporter's information," A stated, emphasizing, "I will say it once more. I am a victim, not a wanted person." However, it remains unconfirmed through public information whether the report was actually false or what specific victimhood A is claiming.
The controversy began on the 23rd when A raised suspicions regarding Yang Hong-won's private life. Claiming to be an acquaintance of Yang Hong-won, A posted on social media, "A newlywed groom just went to a motel with a woman. Isn't this wrong?" The impact of the post grew as A also disclosed the face of the woman who reportedly accompanied Yang Hong-won to the motel.
Immediately following the disclosure, Yang Hong-won's agency released an official statement refuting A's claims. The agency asserted that the allegations are untrue and that the provided materials are the result of malicious editing. While the agency acknowledged that Yang Hong-won did accompany a woman to a motel, they presented a position entirely different from A's explanation regarding the background and circumstances at the time.
According to the agency, Yang Hong-won was requested to go to a specific motel designated by A and went to that location while heavily intoxicated to find a place to sleep. They claimed the woman, who also had nowhere else to go, accompanied him out of necessity. The agency further stated that Yang Hong-won fell asleep as soon as they entered the room, and the woman, while attempting to wake him, requested help from A and subsequently went home with A. The agency's explanation suggests that the fact of accompanying the woman to the motel is separate from the allegation of infidelity.
The controversy entered a new phase when a person referred to as B released a separate disclosure targeting A. B claimed that A manipulated SNS messages and other means to extort money and had brought the woman to the motel for that purpose. B also criticized A, stating, "Because they are a wanted person, their accounts are blocked and they have no money, so they are putting on a show to extort money," and claimed that B himself had been robbed of 5 million won by A. However, B's statements are also the claims of an individual, and specific facts or legal judgments have not been confirmed.
Currently, the controversy involves a mix of several issues: the circumstances of Yang Hong-won's accompaniment to the motel, the infidelity allegations, the authenticity of the disclosed materials, and the monetary claims surrounding A. As the claims of the parties involved conflict, it is difficult to determine the facts based solely on one side's disclosure. It also remains unconfirmed whether the police dispatch was due to a false report as A claims.
Yang Hong-won announced the news of having a daughter in November 2024 and held a wedding with former model Won Hyeon-ju in a location in Seoul on the 18th, approximately two years later. As the agency has stepped in to explain the private life controversy that arose immediately after the wedding, attention is focused on how this situation will develop amidst the additional claims regarding the accuser.
