1939-Born Jeon Won-joo Confesses Crush on Kim Young-chul, 13 Years Her Junior: “I Even Held His Hand”
On the YouTube channel “Jeon Won-jooingong,” actor Jeon Won-joo opened up about her lingering affection for junior colleague Kim Young-chul.
Actor Jeon Won-joo, who was born in 1939, confessed that she has had feelings for Kim Young-chul, a junior colleague 13 years younger than her, saying that she had even tried holding his hand.

On the 2nd, Jeon Won-joo appeared on the YouTube channel “Jeon Won-jooingong,” where she openly talked about her feelings for her junior colleague Kim Young-chul.
Jeon met Sunwoo Yong-yeo and traveled by car to a hotel. During the ride, Jeon said, “A pretty person also speaks well. But he has no mood. He cannot say things like, ‘I love you, Mr. Young-chul.’”
When the production team asked who “Mr. Young-chul” was, Sunwoo Yong-yeo also could not hide her curiosity. “Who is Young-chul? Tell me, unni,” she said, pressing Jeon to explain.
After hesitating, Jeon confessed, “I still like that man.” Sunwoo reacted with concern, saying, “This is serious. You are almost 90, so what are we supposed to do if you still like men?”
As Jeon continued mentioning “Mr. Young-chul,” Sunwoo asked again, “Who is Mr. Young-chul? There is a Young-chul among our actors.” Jeon then shyly admitted, “It is Kim Young-chul.”
Sunwoo responded as if the idea was unlikely to work out, saying, “Isn’t Kim Young-chul younger than you? Would he like you?” Jeon answered candidly, “I liked him on my own. I bought him food and put it all into his hands. Then I held his hand tightly once.”
