EXID's Hani Returns in 'Love Is Coming,' Overcoming Pain as Her Character Starts Again with Dawn Green Juice Deliveries
EXID member and actress Ahn Hee-yeon, known as Hani, signals a full drama comeback in KBS 2TV's 'Love Is Coming.'
EXID member and actress Ahn Hee-yeon, who promotes under the name Hani, is preparing to resume active work through KBS 2TV's new weekend drama "Love Is Coming," scheduled to premiere on the 25th of next month. The series is directed by Hong Seok-gu and written by Lee Kyung-hee.

The drama marks Ahn Hee-yeon's first appearance in a television drama in three years, following the 2023 Disney+ OTT original series "Say It Is Love." In "Love Is Coming," she plays Han Gyu-rim, an employee at a side-dish shop.
Han Gyu-rim is a character whose once-comfortable family circumstances collapse, leaving her to take on all kinds of part-time jobs as well as household responsibilities. She spends the entire year struggling to keep life moving. Amid those exhausting days, Kim Mu-jin, played by Ha Seok-jin, comes into her life as if by fate, and the two share a dazzling year together. Yet when harsh reality presses in, she decides to break up with him because she believes she cannot make even the person she loves unhappy.
Having given up love for the sake of her family, Han Gyu-rim continues living bravely as a side-dish shop employee. Her life then reaches a new turning point when she unexpectedly reunites with her first love.
On the 19th, the first stills of Ahn Hee-yeon transformed into Han Gyu-rim were released. In the images, Han Gyu-rim begins her day before dawn by delivering green juice, then immediately throws herself into the part-time work that follows. In between, she also takes responsibility for caring for her younger siblings, taking on the role of the household's main provider.
Han Gyu-rim is also shown revealing complex, subtle emotions that she cannot hide toward Kim Mu-jin, who at that time is working part-time at a restaurant. As love approaches, a bright smile keeps appearing on her face, but the reality she must bear is too heavy for her to step forward easily, leaving her hesitant.
Ahn Hee-yeon had originally planned to marry doctor and broadcaster Yang Jae-woong. However, after a female patient in her 30s died while hospitalized at a hospital opened by Yang Jae-woong, the public strongly criticized him. In the aftermath, Ahn Hee-yeon postponed the wedding and temporarily suspended her activities.
During that period, Ahn Hee-yeon continued communicating through social media and showed herself traveling through remote areas of Asia while pursuing mental discipline. With "Love Is Coming," she is now signaling a full-fledged return.
