Go Hyun-jung addresses health concerns over slim physique
Actress Go Hyun-jung clarifies that her recent weight loss is due to health issues and surgery, not intentional dieting, following new photos.
Actress Go Hyun-jung is drawing attention once again for her noticeably thinner appearance after revealing behind-the-scenes photos from a luxury jewelry photoshoot.

On the 31st of last month, Go shared updates on her recent life by posting several photos on her SNS without much explanation.
The released photos were taken during an advertisement shoot for a luxury jewelry brand, capturing her perfectly pulling off various moods—from sexy styling with long wavy hair and intense red lips to an elegant concept in a black dress. Her deep gaze and unique aura elevated the quality of the pictorial.
However, what drew the most attention was her physique, which appeared even thinner than before. With her slender arms revealed through sleeveless outfits and prominent collarbones, fans reacted with concerns such as "Isn't she too thin?" and "I'm worried about her health."
Go has recently caused concern with her thin build, and she has directly addressed her health status regarding the matter.
Appearing on the YouTube channel 'Gyang Min-kyung' recently, she revealed that she underwent emergency surgery twice, once in 2020 and again in 2024. Go confessed to her difficult health condition, stating, "There was a problem in the area connecting the duodenum and the pancreas, and my stomach was also complexly unwell."
Regarding her current physique, she clarified, "People think I am dieting severely, but that is not the case at all."
She added, "After the surgery, I grew to hate the stomach pain that comes after eating. It's enough to make me depressed. Being slim is good to a certain extent, but would I undergo a diet I didn't even do when I was young while my health is fluctuating?"
She further emphasized that her weight loss is a result of her medical treatment rather than intentional dieting, adding, "I am still visiting the hospital regularly and managing my health while continuing to take medication."
Fans are sending messages of support, saying, "I hope you at least take care of your health," "You are still beautiful, but please do not overdo it," and "Please continue to be active for a long time in good health."
Go continues to engage with fans through various activities, including preparing for her next project, advertisements, and pictorial shoots.
