Jung Woong-in's daughter Se-yoon eyes acting career with girl group visuals

Jeong Se-yoon, the eldest daughter of actor Jung Woong-in, has shared an update revealing her aspirations to become an actress. Se-yoon, who was beloved for her adorable presence on variety shows during her childhood, has drawn attention as she enters her early 20s and prepares for a career on stage.

Recently, a video titled 'They're all here! A stage for new and old stars: The Merchant of Venice' was released on the YouTube channel 'Next Door Couple Seo Hyun-chul and Jung Jae-eun'.

The video captures actors Seo Hyun-chul and Jung Jae-eun visiting the National Theater Haeoreum Theater to watch the play 'The Merchant of Venice'. While greeting the cast members at the venue, the two happened to run into Jung Woong-in and his eldest daughter, Se-yoon.

Wearing a hat, Se-yoon immediately took it off and bowed politely upon seeing Jung Jae-eun. Her natural and respectful demeanor created a warm atmosphere.

Seo Hyun-chul then joked to Jung, "You're out watching performances too?" to which Jung quipped, "I'm a stage actor," drawing laughter.

Jung Jae-eun added, "Woong-in has been doing a lot of plays lately," while Seo playfully responded, "It's because I don't really like him," showcasing the easy chemistry of long-time friends.

The conversation naturally led to Se-yoon's career path.

When Seo asked, "Did you two come to see the play together?", Jung revealed his daughter's intentions, saying, "Se-yoon has to start acting now too.'

When Jung Jae-eun asked if she had majored in theater, Jung confirmed she had, and Se-yoon herself shared that she is currently preparing and steadily working toward her goal of becoming an actress.

Born in 2007, Se-yoon received immense love from viewers for her bright appearance and lovely personality when she appeared on KBS2's 'Dad! Where Are We Going?' as a child. At the time, she garnered significant attention, being hailed as one of the "nation's daughters.'

Later, she drew attention again with a more mature look during her appearance on ENA's 'My Kid's Private Life'. In particular, her striking features and pure aura drew comments that she possesses "visuals that could debut in a girl group.'

Now moving beyond her image as the cute child from variety shows, Se-yoon is taking steps toward her new dream. All eyes are on whether she will follow in her father Jung's footsteps to become a professional actress.
