Kang Sung-yeon, a Brighter Sense of Family Completion After Remarriage

Actress Kang Sung-yeon has shared a happy update on her life after remarriage, conveying that she is living with a fulfilled family life and is deeply satisfied with the home she has built.

On June 19, Kang posted on social media about a recent visit to an exhibition. In the photos and update she shared, Kang, her husband, Director Jang Min-wook, and her two sons are seen viewing the exhibition together as a family.

Artist Cheongsin, who performed at the exhibition, described the atmosphere around Kang's family with warmth. Cheongsin said that seeing the harmony of actress Kang Sung-yeon's family left a warm impression, offering a glimpse of the close and comfortable mood surrounding them.

Kang married jazz pianist Kim Ga-on in 2012 and had two sons with him, but the couple divorced in 2023. More recently, she remarried Director Jang Min-wook, a specialist in neurology.

Director Jang is a well-known doctor who has become familiar to the public through various health programs and lectures.

Director Jang's father previously served as president of Korea National University of Transportation. He received South Korea's Blue Stripes Order of Service Merit in 2013 and won the education category at the Korea Public Policy Awards in 2019.
