Former actress Kim Se-in, who once graced television screens and movie theaters, has revealed her new life after leaving the entertainment industry. Moving from the glamorous spotlight to dawn shifts at a logistics center and life as a guardian for seven abandoned dogs, her daily routine offers a profound sense of purpose far beyond a mere "second act."

Kim shared an update on her life via SNS on the 2nd.

She detailed her grueling schedule, stating, "I just got home after finishing work at the logistics center from 1:30 AM to 9:00 AM today."

She added, "Among the newcomers, three people, including a man, said they couldn't do it and went home halfway through. Thanks to that, I think there was a bit more work to do."

Despite the intense physical labor, Kim offered calm reflections rather than complaints.

"As soon as I arrived, I fed the kids, took them for a short walk, changed their water, let the rabbits and chickens out in the yard, washed up, and lay down," she said. "My body is tired, but I think it was a day lived diligently."

Her current life—choosing the responsibility of protecting living beings over the fame of her acting career—is a stark departure from the image the public once knew.

Previously, Kim showcased her life living with seven abandoned dogs on the MBN program "Scoop World," which aired on the 30th of last month.

During the broadcast, she revealed she works part-time delivering food, saying, "I have to work hard to earn even a single penny." She further confessed, "I do commercial shoots and occasionally film dramas and movies, but to feed a large family, I have to run hard."

More important to her now than the fame she once enjoyed is the survival of the family she has chosen.

Kim also candidly shared why she left the entertainment industry 13 years ago.

Recalling her painful memories, she said, "I grew sick of the entertainment industry. The CEO of my agency kept taking me to places like nightclubs and making my life miserable. Every day was like hell, and I hated living."

While the entertainment industry sells dreams and fantasies to the public, it can harbor a reality that is difficult to endure for those within it.
