In the new JTBC drama 'New Employee Chairman Kang,' which premieres on the 30th, Lee Jun Young and Lee Joo-myung transform into new employees hiding secrets, unfolding an unpredictable office life. An intern possessed by a chairman's soul and a youngest daughter of a chaebol family hiding her true identity will showcase a turbulent corporate life.
On the 25th, the production team of JTBC 'New Employee Chairman Kang' released three teasers showcasing unexpected charms. 'New Employee Chairman Kang' tells the story of entrepreneur Kang Yong-ho (Son Hyun-joo) living a second life in an unexpected way after an accident.
In the first teaser released, the appearance of new employee Hwang Jun-hyun (Lee Jun Young), who arrives for his first day at Choi Seong Mulsan, captures attention. After giving an enthusiastic greeting, his eyes suddenly change, and he utters the ominous words, “Do you want to take over Choi Seong Group? With me?”, revealing that the soul of Chairman Kang Yong-ho resides within his body.
The second teaser depicts the chaotic daily life of Hwang Jun-hyun as he adapts to corporate life. He appears flustered by neologisms such as 'salary lupin,' 'ASAP,' and 'Lee-toe-baek,' yet reacts sensitively to news about rival group chairmen in the newspapers, exuding an atmosphere different from an ordinary intern. The unique character, blending the appearance of a new employee with the mindset of a chairman, promises plenty of comedic fun.
Kang Bang-geul's (Lee Joo-myung) identity is also intriguing. Disguised as Casey Kang, an intern who studied abroad, she acts like an immature daughter to her family but reveals her hidden agenda by analyzing the financial statements of Choi Seong Group behind the scenes. Interest is mounting over what Kang Bang-geul's true intentions are as she enters the company holding secrets.
The production team expressed high expectations, stating that Hwang Jun-hyun and Kang Bang-geul will create unexpected incidents in the Materials Team 2 of Choi Seong Group, delivering both pleasant laughter and tension simultaneously.
