'Agent Kim Reactivated' tension rises as it is revealed that Kim Bu-jang had already identified the identities of the undercover agents who were monitoring him.
In the 4th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated' aired on the 4th, Kim Bu-jang (So Ji-sub) was shown requesting cooperation from Jung Sang-ah (Son Naeun) and the laundry owner Mr. Lim (Park Jin Woo) to find his daughter, Kim Min-ji, even though he already knew their true identities.
Previously, Kim Bu-jang joined forces with Sung Han-soo (Choi Dae-hoon) to track the mobile phone signal of his kidnapped daughter, Kim Min-ji (Seo Su-min), and succeeded in securing the phone after overpowering the organization members.
However, before he could find relief, North Korean agent Park Kang-sung (Kim Sung Kyu) appeared and pointed a gun at Kim Bu-jang, saying, "So you were here. Fake 66," pushing the tension to its peak.
In that moment of crisis, Jung Sang-ah and Mr. Lim appeared and stopped Park Kang-sung. It was once again confirmed that the two were undercover agents who had been monitoring Kim Bu-jang while disguising themselves as an ordinary bank employee and a laundry owner.
However, even though their identities were revealed, Kim Bu-jang showed no sign of surprise or embarrassment. When Jung Sang-ah asked for the reason, Kim Bu-jang calmly replied, "I thought there would be watchers around me," revealing that he had already noticed their presence.
Following this, when Jung Sang-ah and Mr. Lim urged him to surrender, Kim Bu-jang appealed, saying, "Min-ji has been kidnapped. Please just wait until I find the child," and added, "Once I find Min-ji, I will turn myself in. I promise," before leaving the scene.
This development, which revealed Kim Bu-jang's desperate paternal love and the subtle relationship of trust with the undercover agents, is drawing attention to how the subsequent rescue of Kim Min-ji and the pursuit by the Special Mission Bureau will unfold.
