So Ji-sub's cinematic romance with wife Jo Eun-jung spotlighted
Actor So Ji-sub's romantic history with wife Jo Eun-jung regains attention following the success of his SBS drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated'.
Actor So Ji-sub is once again drawing attention for his movie-like love story with his wife, Jo Eun-jung, following the success of his SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated'.

In 2020, So Ji-sub and Jo Eun-jung, a former broadcaster 17 years his junior, officially became husband and wife through marriage registration. The couple's connection began on the set of an entertainment news program.
At the time, Jo, who was working as a reporter for the SBS program 'Real Entertainment Midnight', interviewed So ahead of the release of the movie 'Be With You'. The meeting proved to be more than a simple interview, serving as the turning point that changed both of their lives.
During the interview, So drew attention for his nervous expression and his inability to take his eyes off Jo. He later spoke candidly about his feelings during various interviews.
While promoting the movie 'Confession', So confessed, "As a result, it is true that I fell in love at first sight. Even after filming ended, I kept thinking about her. It was a feeling I hadn't felt in a long time, and I felt like I would regret it for the rest of my life if I didn't reach out."
The most significant concern was their 17-year age difference. However, he conveyed his sincerity through an acquaintance, and after Jo opened her heart, the two began a romantic relationship.
After officially acknowledging their relationship in 2019, they quietly nurtured their romance and began their married life in Hannam-dong, Seoul. In 2020, they became a married couple through marriage registration rather than a formal wedding ceremony, marking their new beginning by donating 50 million won to Good Neighbors.
Since marrying, So has noted significant changes in his life. He revealed his deep affection for his wife, stating, "The insomnia that had tormented me for a long time disappeared after I got married. Now I think I understand why people say they feel a sense of stability when they marry."
So has received praise from viewers for his intense action and commanding presence in the SBS drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated'. Driven by the show's popularity, both his acting and his love story with Jo are once again trending topics.
