Actress Son Tae-young expressed her fondness while mentioning Lee Seo Jin, with whom she shares a close personal friendship.
On the 12th, during the channel 'Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young,' Son spoke about her acquaintance, Lee Seo Jin.
Son sat at an outdoor cafe with an acquaintance she met through fellow parents, enjoying a rare moment of leisurely conversation.
The acquaintance, who knows Lee, shared, "When I meet him, I talk about you. He asks, 'What is Tae-young doing now?' and when I told him, 'She's just raising the kids right now. She's doing nothing but driving them around all day,' he said, 'That actually suits her well.'" The acquaintance noted how Lee spoke of Son's domestic life.
Son remarked, "In the past, Seo-jin Oppa and I worked on a project together (the 2006 drama 'Freeze'). We got to know each other while filming. Since I always see him on TV, I don't even know how many years it's been since I last saw him in person. He just feels like someone I see all the time. I was like, 'Oppa, I have a job, I'm a housewife,'" gesturing as if she still speaks comfortably with Lee.
Son married actor Kwon Sang-woo in 2008 and gave birth to her first son, Ruk-hui, the following year, and her second daughter, Ri-ho, in 2015. Since 2019, she has been living in New Jersey for her children's education. As Ruk-hui is facing college entrance exams this year, she is focusing even more on her role as a mother. Her last work as an actress was the MBC drama 'You Are Too Much,' which ended in August 2017.
Son said, "My husband said he saw Seo-jin Oppa at a restaurant. Once he realized it was him, Kwon greeted him. Then, Seo-jin Oppa bought us a meal." The acquaintance added, "But Seo-jin Oppa has been exactly the same from the past until now." Son and her acquaintance agreed, saying, "It's so funny, he is a real 'tsundere' (cold on the outside but warm on the inside)." Son expressed regret, saying, "It would be so wonderful if he were my real older brother."
The acquaintance encouraged her return to acting, saying, "But you should work later on," to which Son responded, "I have no JOB. Right now, I am a housewife," showing her determination to focus on her children's education for the time being.
