IU showcases transformation from bare face to full makeup

Singer and actress IU has shared a glimpse into her daily life and professional appearances following her transformation with a short hairstyle. The collection ranges from casual moments in pajamas with wet hair and a bare face to perfectly styled looks on set, yet her signature aura remains consistent throughout.

On September 25, IU posted several photos on her SNS with captions such as "Life of a short-haired person," "Short-haired person's on&off," and "Short-haired person's horizontal shot." The images serve as a personal record of her various moments since adopting the new look.

In the photos, IU poses in comfortable pajamas, taking selfies with her wet short hair left natural and capturing her reflection in the mirror. While these looks are a far cry from her glamorous styled appearances, her natural charm draws significant attention.

In particular, her look—gazing into the camera with a slight smile and a face close to her bare face—captured the spotlight. Even without heavy styling, she revealed her signature clear and lovely atmosphere. "From This Star" features two double title tracks: "From This Star" and "Dear my crazy soulmate." Notably, IU participated in writing the lyrics for both songs, showcasing her talent as a singer-songwriter. Following her stylistic shift with the short hair, attention is now turning toward IU's next steps as she prepares for her 6th full-length album.
