Kim Ye-won’s Eyes Light Up at Catchphrases From Heo Kyung-hwan, Six Years Her Senior

Kim Ye-won drew attention with a pink-tinted moment after reacting brightly to the trademark lines of comedian Heo Kyung-hwan, who is six years older than her.

On the 15th, actor Kim Ye-won appeared on SBS’s “Ani Geunde Jinjja!” and openly showed a favorable interest in Heo Kyung-hwan. Heo joined the broadcast as a special MC, while Kim Ye-won and Tiffany Young appeared as leading cast members of the musical “Yumi’s Cells.”

During the conversation, Tak Jae-hoon asked Kim, “You are not married, are you?” Kim replied, “It is not that I have decided not to get married.” Tak then asked her age, and Kim said she was born in 1987. Tak offered a compliment, saying he had thought she was younger and that she looked as if she had been born around 1992.

Lee Sang-min then pointed out, “There are two unmarried people here,” indicating Tak Jae-hoon and Heo Kyung-hwan. Kim Ye-won corrected him with precision, saying, “But Mr. Tak Jae-hoon is not exactly unmarried, is he? Remarriage.” Her remark made everyone laugh. Tak bristled and asked, “Do you know about me?” but Kim answered confidently, “It is not as if I do not know.” Tak responded as though he did not mind, saying, “So you were interested in me.”

Lee Su-ji asked Kim, “If you met them privately, between Tak Jae-hoon and Heo Kyung-hwan, who would be more your type?” Heo Kyung-hwan immediately regretted his appearance, saying, “If I had known Ye-won would be here, I would not have dressed like this. I am usually a perfectly normal person.” His comment referred to the “flower beggar” costume he was wearing. Lee Sang-min spoke up for him, adding, “Kyung-hwan may look like this, but he is a good guy.”

Kim Ye-won then turned her attention to Heo’s comedy persona. Looking at his current appearance, she said, “This look is unbalanced. I want to give you 500 won,” echoing one of his familiar catchphrases. She added, “I wanted to see you do catchphrases like ‘If you are curious, 500 won’ in person,” making clear that she had a particular interest in Heo.

Heo Kyung-hwan responded by recreating his lines on the spot: “Everything that makes me do this out of nowhere, against the flow, is unbalanced. If you keep asking me to do it, no, no, no, you must not.” When Kim Ye-won laughed loudly, Lee Su-ji tried to connect the two, saying, “She really likes him.”

Kim Ye-won made her debut in the 2009 film “Garujigi.” Heo Kyung-hwan was born in 1981.
