Uhm Jeong-hwa reveals secret to having a physical age in her 30s
Singer and actress Uhm Jeong-hwa shares her strict diet and lifestyle habits that keep her body in its early 30s despite being 56.
Singer and actress Uhm Jeong-hwa has once again proven her status as the 'eternal diva' by revealing the incredible self-care secrets that make her mid-50s age hard to believe.

Uhm, who has become an icon of consistent health management and self-discipline alongside her stage charisma, drew attention by revealing that her recent physical examination results showed her body is in a condition equivalent to someone in their early 30s.
On the April 4 broadcast of KBS1's 'Morning Forum,' the stars of the movie 'Okay! Madam 2'—Uhm Jeong-hwa, Park Seong-ung, and Bae Jung-nam—appeared to share various stories.
During the appearance, Uhm revealed her health management methods, stating, "For several years now, I have maintained a diet that strictly reduces carbohydrates and sugar."
She continued, "As I managed myself that way, my body definitely improved. When I had blood tests or physical exams, my age seemed to get younger and younger, and during last year's exam, I was even asked, 'How much better can you get?' My physical age went as far back as my early 30s," surprising the cast.
It is a result that makes her actual age of 56 seem irrelevant.
Uhm explained that it wasn't just about appearance, but rather the lifestyle habits she has built up over a long time that created her current health.
She said, "These days, I am doing almost one meal a day. In the morning, I eat a little bit of protein, and I also take my vitamins well."
She also revealed her personal routine, saying, "Instead of drinking coffee as soon as I wake up in the morning, I consume warm water with salt, lemon, lemon tea, olive oil, and so on."
Regarding the habit of reducing sugar and carbohydrates, she emphasized, "At first, I want to eat it so much, but if you practice not eating it, you get used to it. The body changes according to habit."
However, even amidst perfect self-management, she did not hide her human side.
Uhm drew laughter by honestly admitting, "There was a cake outside today, so I ate it." She showed a healthy management style of controlling herself and enjoying things rather than extreme deprivation.
The reason she manages her body to this extent was not simply to look young.
Uhm said, "I want to do the work I am doing now healthily for a long, long time. I manage myself because I want to maintain a healthy body for a long time."
For Uhm, who has been active as both a singer and an actress from the 1990s to the present, health is the foundation that sustains her artistic world.
In fact, she is showing unchanging energy by once again challenging herself with action acting through the movie 'Okay! Madam 2.'
She also cited her daily life with her pet dog, 'Super,' as a driving force for her healthy life.
Uhm expressed her affection, saying, "I take walks with Super every day. Walking for about two hours naturally becomes exercise. Thanks to Super, I think to myself that I must continue to protect my health."
She went on to convey how much her pet dog means to her life, saying, "Super is a treasure that helps me maintain peace of mind."
In particular, she revealed an experience where her pet dog helped her during a moment of crisis.
Uhm said, "Once, I was experiencing sleep paralysis while sleeping, and in a situation where I couldn't move, Super woke me up. Another time, a scented candle flared up significantly, and I found out because Super barked."
For Uhm, who has stood before the public for decades, self-management is not mere beauty care.
It is an attitude to protect her life and her stage, and it is close to a promise with herself that becomes firmer as time passes.
The reason she still shines in front of the stage and the camera even at the age of 56: the real secret to the youthful look Uhm shows lies in a consistent way of life that involves loving and caring for herself rather than just external management.
