2NE1's Sandara Park shared her honest experiences regarding how celebrities with introverted personalities can survive in broadcasting. Her short remark, "Just grow older," drew laughter, but it was a piece of realistic advice that only a star who has undergone years of trial and error in front of the camera could offer.

Sandara Park recently appeared on the YouTube channel "Donghaemul and Baekdu Eunhyeok," where she revealed her journey of adapting to variety shows.

During the appearance, she confessed that she used to have a shy and introverted personality. While she showed a powerful presence on stage during her idol activities, she received a completely different evaluation in variety shows.

"I received a lot of criticism when I first started doing variety shows," Sandara Park stated, adding, "I struggled for several years while hearing things like 'she's just a background prop' or 'she's just a shuttle for appearance fees.'"

She explained that although she was a star on the glamorous stage, she didn't know how to create a character on the new stage of variety shows, and it was a time when she had to worry about every single word and reaction.

However, steady experience changed her. Sandara Park said, "After spending four years with the best MC unnies on MBC Every1's 'Video Star,' I found that I was actually quite good at talking when I went to other programs."

When Eunhyuk asked, "Isn't that just when you're in front of the camera?" Sandara Park bowed her head in admission, bringing laughter. It was a candid confession that while she speaks naturally on broadcasts, her actual personality remains quite quiet.

Eunhyuk then mentioned the concerns of recent introverted idol juniors. He asked for ways to overcome these struggles, saying, "There are friends who worry about what to do because they are shy, have small voices, and feel like they have nothing special about them."

Sandara Park's answer was unexpectedly simple.

"Just grow older."

While the short answer triggered laughter, it contained deep meaning derived from experience. She added, "Time will solve it. If you do variety shows in a 'Spartan' manner, you will learn."

She suggested that variety shows are not a field completed by innate talent alone, but a process of finding one's own rhythm through numerous mistakes, tension, and failures.
