Han Hye-jin and Hwasa reunite to shake up Namdaemun Market
Model Han Hye-jin and singer Hwasa reunite on SBS's 'My Little Old Boy' for a hilarious food tour through Seoul's Namdaemun Market.
Model Han Hye-jin and singer Hwasa have reunited. The two, who once displayed extraordinary chemistry on the MBC variety show 'I Live Alone', are set to tease another round of delightful teamwork through SBS's 'My Little Old Boy'.

Stepping away from their glamorous star personas, the pair met viewers with a more relatable side as they roamed through market alleys. From shopping to mukbang, they radiated an unstoppable charm, signaling the return of a "trusted duo."
A preview video released by SBS's 'My Little Old Boy' captures Han and Hwasa visiting Seoul's Namdaemun Market. The two wandered the market enjoying personalized shopping trips, while their distinct personalities shone through during a subsequent mukbang session.
Hwasa, in particular, flaunted her status as a "mukbang goddess" from the moment she appeared. When soy-marinated crab was served, she prepared for the meal with meticulousness, even donning plastic gloves while declaring, "I'm going to start."
Watching this, Han scolded her, saying, "Just do it casually. Why are you so obsessed?" but Hwasa shot back without wavering, "No. Don't say anything when it comes to food," drawing laughter from the group.
Hwasa's uncompromising attitude toward food recalled her legendary gopchang (small intestine) mukbang on 'I Live Alone'. At the time, her meal triggered a nationwide craze for the dish and was cited as a prime example of the "mukbang syndrome."
Han did not miss the opportunity to tease her. Mentioning Hwasa's massive influence, she joked, "When you ate gopchang, it ran out nationwide, but this time, Deokja-ssi is going to lose weight.""
Hwasa continued her culinary journey by ordering another Namdaemun specialty, Deokja-jjim (braised fish). As she expressed her anticipation, saying, "This is the original place," her signature free-spirited energy—simply enjoying the moments she loves—was on full display.
The bond between the two transcends mere variety show partnership. Although they are stars in different fields, they create natural laughter through their unvarnished appearances and honest conversations. Han's realistic nagging and Hwasa's firm food philosophy create an atmosphere reminiscent of old friends or real sisters.
While Han is known for her cool-headed and disciplined image as a model, she has often shown a more human, clumsy charm on variety shows. Meanwhile, Hwasa is beloved for her unrivaled musical style and confident attitude, building a friendly public image through her honest approach to food and life.
Though they may seem like polar opposites, it is precisely that difference that completes their chemistry. The balance between Han's grounded sense of reality and Hwasa's free energy is expected to be a major highlight of this episode of 'My Little Old Boy.'
Fans are eager to see what kind of laughter the "real sister chemistry" of Han and Hwasa will provide as they reunite after focusing on their respective careers since 'I Live Alone'.
