Seo Jang Hoon gives Eunchae life-or-death advice for acting career

Broadcaster and former basketball player Seo Jang Hoon offered realistic advice to actress Eunchae, a former member of the girl group DIA, on how to survive in the acting industry.

In the episode of KBS Joy's 'Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller' airing on the 3rd, Eunchae, who is currently active as an actress following her time in DIA, appears as a client.

Eunchae shared her concerns, stating, "It has been about a year and a half since I properly started acting. I feel like I have always been in an ambiguous position. Now, I don't want to be an ambiguous person anymore as an actress."

The broadcast will also reveal the process of her transitioning to acting after her idol activities. Eunchae confessed to having gone through difficult times, including challenging several survival auditions and even preparing for a virtual idol debut that ultimately fell through.

Upon hearing this, Seo recalled the past, saying, "I even visited the DIA dorms once."

Drawing from his own experience as an athlete, he advised, "You shouldn't feel anxious on set if you have practiced like your life depends on it and are fully prepared."

He emphasized that overwhelming preparation is necessary to establish oneself as an actress, adding, "Practicing alone is not enough. You need to take lessons and significantly increase your practice volume to develop a definitive weapon."

Lee Soo Geun, who appeared alongside him, also shared his own experience.

He empathized, saying, "I also failed the final stages of comedian auditions several times because my character was considered ambiguous," and sent a sincere message of support to Eunchae.
