Han Hye-jin and Hwasa reunite, keeping 'Yeoeunpa' spirit alive
Han Hye-jin and Hwasa showcase their enduring friendship during a shopping and food trip at Namdaemun Market in a new SBS preview.
Han Hye-jin and Hwasa, members of the beloved 'Yeoeunpa' (Women's Secret Party) trio formed on the MBC variety show 'I Live Alone,' are reuniting on screen after a long hiatus.

Although Park Na-rae could not join them, the reunion is expected to delight fans who fondly remember the special chemistry the three women once brought to the variety show industry.
On the 2nd, SBS released a preview video via its official channel titled 'Han Hye-jin × Hwasa: Shopping and Skillful Mukbang in Namdaemun Market.'
In the clip, Han and Hwasa visit Seoul's Namdaemun Market, displaying their unwavering bond while enjoying shopping and a food tour.
Hwasa, in particular, showed an unexpected passion for shopping, falling for various bath-related items including massage balls, sauna cushions, mirrors, and shower towels. Watching this, Han drew laughter with her blunt, realistic reaction: "Stop buying things."
The bickering between the two felt natural, reminiscent of lifelong friends.
Hwasa's presence was just as strong during the mukbang. Having previously become a nationwide sensation for her gopchang mukbang on 'I Live Alone,' she challenged herself to soy-marinated crab and braised fish this time.
Facing the meal, Hwasa declared her personal mukbang philosophy, saying, "Unnie, don't say anything when food is in front of me," before bringing laughter by diving into the food with intense seriousness.
Han also acknowledged Hwasa's legendary eating instincts, predicting a special rapport by saying, "She has arrived.'
The connection between the two dates back to the late 2010s on 'I Live Alone.'
Han, Park, and Hwasa grew close through the show, and their subsequent 'Yeoeunpa' content gained massive popularity by showcasing an honest, unrestrained female friendship rarely seen in traditional variety shows.
With glamorous styling, witty banter, and a willingness to be silly, 'Yeoeunpa' evolved from a simple segment into an iconic character group for fans.
However, since Han left 'I Live Alone,' official meetings between the three have become less frequent. Han naturally departed the program following her public relationship and subsequent breakup with Jun Hyun-moo, but she has maintained close ties with her former castmates.
Last year, the trio met again on Park's YouTube channel 'Narae's Table,' where they even teased the possibility of a 'Yeoeunpa' Season 2, flaunting their enduring friendship.
This time, however, Park was absent. She is currently taking a hiatus from activities as she continues a legal battle with her former manager that began late last year.
Nevertheless, the rapport between Han and Hwasa demonstrates the lasting power of connections made through variety shows.
Han has remained active with her former colleagues even after leaving 'I Live Alone.' On her own YouTube channel, she continues to nurture these bonds through 'Three Idiots' content with Kian84 and Lee Si-eon, sharing travel adventures and daily life.
Recently, she also demonstrated her loyalty by participating in a maternity photoshoot for Lee Si-eon and Seo Ji-seung on Jeju Island.
While most variety show friendships fade once a program ends, the bonds formed by the 'I Live Alone' members continue to endure over time.
Though Park's absence is felt, the honest and playful 'Yeoeunpa' energy Han and Hwasa are set to display is expected to provide a fresh wave of entertainment.
