Jeon Hyun-moo, 46, Chooses a Pet Dog Instead of Marriage: "I Thought a Thief Broke In"
Jeon Hyun-moo will introduce his newly adopted rescue puppy on MBC's I Live Alone after finding his home turned upside down.
Television personality Jeon Hyun-moo, 46, will introduce the pet dog he recently adopted on the June 12 broadcast of MBC's variety program "I Live Alone." Ahead of the episode, the production team released a preview under the title "Save Me, Moobeoji! Jeon Hyun-moo's Parenting Diary," setting up the story of his new life with the puppy.

In the teaser, Jeon Hyun-moo looked flustered as he took in the sight of his home in complete disarray. "My shoes were in the living room," he said, surprised by the mess. He added, "A thief broke in," but the real culprit was not an intruder. It was the puppy he had adopted not long before, who had rummaged through the house.
Jeon explained that the adoption was part of what he called "Jeon Hyun-moo's filial piety project, part two." He said, "I should have gotten married and given my parents a grandchild, but I decided to adopt this friend instead," introducing the companion dog he brought into the family for his parents.
He proudly described the puppy as "a 70-day-old child rescued from a breeding farm" and called it "Bokdeongi," meaning a bringer of good fortune. After becoming a one-day father figure, nicknamed "Moobeoji," a blend of Hyun-moo and father, Jeon said, "It is no different from raising a child." The episode will show his busy daily routine caring for the puppy, now a new member of the family.
Even on his day off, Jeon got up at 7 a.m. to take care of the puppy's water and food, showing how quickly his schedule has changed around his new companion.
