Ji Ye-eun Also Attends Family Worship with Boyfriend Bata: "My Younger Brother Likes Him So Much"

Actress Ji Ye-eun grew shy when she received congratulations over her relationship with dancer Bata.

On May 30, the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun released a video titled "The Housewarming Celebration Is Just an Excuse." Actors Lee Kwang-soo, Byeon Woo-seok, and Ji Ye-eun, who are fixed cast members of the Netflix variety program "Yoo Jae-suk Camp," appeared in the episode.

Yoo Jae-suk introduced Ji Ye-eun as "Bata's girlfriend" and explained that the couple's nickname is "Chiabatta." Smiling, Yoo said, "Ji Ye-eun is the chia, and then there is Bata," laying out the wordplay behind the nickname.

Byeon Woo-seok then told her, "Ji Ye-eun has become so much prettier since she started dating. Did you tell Bata you were doing 'Pinggyego'?" Ji replied, "I told him I was appearing." Lee Kwang-soo suddenly let out a cheer, adding to the teasing mood.

Ji Ye-eun said she liked the kind Byeon Woo-seok, but that she liked Bata even more. Yoo Jae-suk looked back on the time they filmed "Yoo Jae-suk Camp" and said, "I think you were dating then, too. You kept checking your phone from time to time. That came back to me." Lee Kwang-soo checked with her, saying, "Whenever you disappeared, I thought you were going off to fart. Was that what it was?" Ji answered, "It was not that."

Yoo Jae-suk also revealed that he had spoken with Ji Ye-eun before her dating rumors became public. Ji had called him late on the night before a recording to give him a heads-up that reports about her relationship seemed likely to come out. Yoo reassured her by saying they could bring it up naturally during the opening the next day, easing her worries.

Ji Ye-eun shared that her family has also spent time with Bata. "My younger sibling likes Bata so much that we even go to worship together," she said.

Ji explained how the two became close, saying, "Bata and I went to the same church, and we gradually got closer. Both of us are introverted, so the flirting stage was long." Yoo Jae-suk then took aim at Ji Suk-jin as he recalled another part of their story: "Bata choreographed 'Chungju Ji Clan' for her, and while they were practicing the choreography, they also made it a kind of date. Ji Ye-eun and Bata were both born in 1994, making them the same age.
