Jun Hyun-moo addresses May 2027 wedding rumors: 'I have no thoughts'

Entertainer Jun Hyun-moo has candidly revealed his views on marriage. While Jun had previously avoided taking a definitive stance on the matter, he drew a line by stating, "I am not a non-marriage proponent," sparking laughter during a conversation about marriage with his close friend K.Will.

In the 7th episode of MBN and Channel S's 'No Plans At All', which aired on the 14th, Jun and KwakTube sat down with singers K.Will and Tei to share stories while visiting a famous restaurant in Uijeongbu.

During the episode, K.Will and Tei shared news that they have been double-cast in the Korean premiere of a musical based on the life and music of American pop star Alicia Keys. Tei revealed that the audition process alone took a year and shared the tension of the moment, noting that Alicia Keys herself participated in the casting.

During the meal, a so-called "filial impiety battle" broke out between Jun and K.Will, bringing laughter to the group.

Over tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties), Jun attacked K.Will, saying, "It is also called 'Hyo-galbi' (filial piety ribs). This is our weakest point!" In response, K.Will expressed frustration, mentioning that his mother is excessively interested in the private life of her only son, which KwakTube tried to settle warmly.

However, Jun countered, "No. If mothers had less interest in their sons, we would have done better. Faster!" continuing the "filial impiety gag" until the end.

As the atmosphere heated up, KwakTube threw an unexpected question.

"I heard that if Hyun-moo hyung gets married in May 2027, K.Will promised to sing the wedding song. Is that true?"

Reacting to the question, which seemed to take Jun's marriage as a foregone conclusion, K.Will laughed, wondering, "Why did I even say such a thing?" He then proceeded to reveal his own views on marriage.

K.Will stated, "I am not a non-marriage proponent," before asking Jun, "You aren't either, right?"

To this, Jun replied with his signature sly expression, "I have no thoughts."

Laughter naturally erupted on set at Jun's attitude, as he neither actively denied marriage nor revealed any specific plans.

K.Will added his thoughts on marriage, saying, "It feels like the process of getting married becomes more difficult as you get older." He specifically mentioned that he envies and admires people like Kwak Joon-bin, who can make decisions with certainty regarding marriage.

As Jun has had several public relationships in the past, he has consistently drawn public interest regarding marriage. However, the stance revealed in this broadcast was surprisingly simple. Rather than being a "non-marriage proponent" who refuses to marry, he is closer to a state of not having reached a specific conclusion yet.

Therefore, the talk of a "May 2027 wedding" is best viewed as an extension of the jokes and conversation from the broadcast. K.Will's promise to sing the wedding song is also closer to a pleasant conversation stemming from their friendship rather than a confirmation of an actual wedding schedule.
