Kim Jung-eun's Hilarious Story: "A Inter-Korean Summit with Lee Jae-myung Living in the US?"

On the 17th, during the MBC variety program 'Radio Star', actress Kim Jung-eun revealed that she had been strictly defending herself against 'Radio Star's' casting attempts in the past.

Kim Jung-eun stated, "They kept poking at me. They tried to cast me many times for special episodes. They asked me to appear for a 'Bald Special,' but since I hadn't shaved my head, I wondered if that would even work. However, the production team insisted it would be fine. I kept refusing with various excuses, but this time, after I filmed a short-form drama, they reached out again. So, I ended up appearing along with senior Lee Han-wi. Senior Lee Han-wi is also very funny... I feel like being funny is the best thing these days."

She continued, expressing confidence in her sense of humor, "My fortune says I am a tree. So, I am the type of person who burns brightly if you just provide a single match."

She shared a humorous episode, saying, "There are people who hang out closely in couples. One of my friends is Lee Jae-myung. Since I am Kim Jung-eun and my friend is Lee Jae-myung, when I try to make restaurant reservations, the restaurant staff doesn't believe me."

She added, "If Jae-myung and I meet up, just looking at our names sounds like an inter-Korean summit. My friend Jae-myung lives in the US."

Kim Jung-eun enjoyed great popularity after appearing in Kim Eun-sook's hit drama 'Lovers in Paris.' She shared that before her debut as an actress, she accidentally entered the entertainment industry after being selected as an MC for a dating program.

She also mentioned that she once served as an MC alongside Kim Guk-jin, praising him by saying, "What I want to say is that I think this person might truly be number one in terms of character in the entertainment industry."

Kim Guk-jin complimented Kim Jung-eun's hosting skills, saying, "I remember too. Jung-eun, didn't you come with your mother back then? You did a great job then. That was your debut."

Kim Jung-eun revealed that she was attending art college at the time and that the experience motivated her to try acting, leading to her full-fledged career as an actress.
