Lee Gi-taek Joins '1 Night 2 Days' as Yoo Seon-ho Exits After 3.5 Years

Actor Lee Gi-taek is set to join KBS2's '1 Night 2 Days' Season 4, stepping in to fill the vacancy left by Yoo Seon-ho's departure after 3 years and 6 months.

Actor Yoo Seon-ho has announced that he will conclude his 3-year-and-6-month journey on KBS2 variety show '1 Night 2 Days' Season 4 with his final broadcast appearance at the end of this month, and actor Lee Gi-taek will fill the vacancy left behind.

Lee Ki-taek to Join '2 Days & 1 Night' Following Yoo Sun-ho's Departure

'1 Night 2 Days', which first aired in 2007, is KBS2's flagship variety program that has long been a staple of weekend prime-time viewing, with Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, Lee Jun, and DinDin currently serving as regular members.

Following Yoo Seon-ho's recent announcement of his departure, Lee Gi-taek will step in to fill his spot. The production team of '1 Night 2 Days' previously stated, "Member Yoo Seon-ho, who has been with us for a long 3 and a half years, is graduating. We sincerely thank Yoo Seon-ho, who as the young blood of '1 Night 2 Days' has brightened the program for so long."

Lee Gi-taek entered the entertainment industry as a model in 2018 before transitioning to acting through the 2020 web drama 'Two Women's Dangerous Cohabitation - In Seoul 2'. He has appeared in tvN's 'The Devil Judge', KBS2's 'When the Flower Blooms, Think of the Moon', TV Chosun's 'My Happy Ending', and ENA's 'Namibia'. Most recently, he played the role of Shin Ji-su in JTBC's 'Efficient Meetings for Single Men and Women'.

He also made his first foray into variety entertainment with his appearance on Coupang Play's variety show 'Bonjour Bakery'.
