Jeon Young Rok: "My eldest is a vocal major, second is a musical actor—I'm happy they're taller than me"

Singer Jeon Young Rok is opening up about his deep affection for his two sons born after his remarriage.

On the MBN program 'Kim Joo Ha's Day and Night' airing on the 10th, Jeon and Hye Eun Yi, both legends with over 50 years since their debut, will appear to candidly share stories about their musical journeys and families.

During the broadcast, Jeon showcased his pride as a father by sharing updates on his two sons from his second marriage. He revealed, "My eldest son is majoring in vocal music at Seoul National University, and my second son is active as a musical actor."

He continued, "The eldest is 183cm tall, and the second is 180cm," adding, "I love that the children have grown taller than me. Now, I'm even wearing my children's hand-me-down clothes," which drew laughter from the audience.

Jeon had two daughters from his first marriage but divorced in 1997, 12 years after the wedding. He raised the two daughters alone, and after they graduated from high school, he remarried and welcomed two sons.

His eldest daughter from his first marriage, Jeon Bo-ram, was active as a member of the group T-ARA, and his second daughter, Jeon Woo-ram, has also been active in the entertainment industry as a member of the girl group D-Unit. It is known that there is a significant age difference between his daughters and his two sons.

Born in 1954, Jeon debuted in 1973 with 'Nagne Gil' and has since released numerous hits such as 'Aesim,' 'Gangbyeon-ui Chueok,' 'Geunari Omyeon,' 'Jongihak,' 'Geudaega Miwoyo,' 'Ajikdo Motdahan Iyagi,' 'Barame Sillyeogan Sarang,' and 'Urideul-ui Iyagi,' establishing himself as a representative pop icon of the 1970s and 1980s.
