Lee Hyo-ri Expresses Envy Toward Loving Father-Daughter Duo Amid Infertility Struggles

In the Netflix variety show 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp' released on the 2nd, singer Lee Hyo-ri and her husband Lee Sang-soon appeared to spend special time with the second season's guests, during which Lee Hyo-ri expressed envy toward a father and daughter who shared a friend-like bond.
In the second season, a male guest, a former professional soldier currently serving in the police special forces, visited the camp with his two daughters. The eldest daughter drew attention by participating to spend time with her father, despite being a high school senior with only one week left until the CSAT.
She expressed her respect for her father, saying, "My dream is to be a police officer, so I am currently preparing to become a civil servant. That is why my respect for my father is even greater. My role model is my dad."
Lee Hyo-ri shared her moved emotions, saying, "Doesn't a father act like a complete fool for his daughters? Seeing them act like friends while deeply respecting their father was a gift-like moment in itself."
While preparing to leave the camp, Lee Hyo-ri said to Lee Sang-soon, "Wouldn't it be wonderful to love and respect parents like that? I am truly envious." Lee Sang-soon agreed, saying, "Exactly. Wouldn't it be so great if they respected their father and followed in his professional footsteps?"
When Lee Hyo-ri expressed envy by noting, "And their father isn't authoritative at all; he is so much like a friend," Lee Sang-soon empathized, saying, "That's because the father treats them so well."
As Lee Hyo-ri hinted at her regrets regarding children by saying, "We could also do that for them," Lee Sang-soon warmly comforted her, saying, "We are on the same team. As teammates," implying that he would help fill the void.
Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Sang-soon married in 2013. In 2022, Lee Hyo-ri confessed to her struggles with infertility, stating, "I don't want to go as far as IVF. I don't want to rely on the power of medicine. If a baby comes naturally, I want to raise them with immense gratitude."
