Park Sung-kwang's Wife Lee Sol-yi Returns to Hospital Due to 'Chemotherapy Side Effects and Vascular Damage'
Lee Sol-yi, wife of comedian Park Sung-kwang, shares updates on her ongoing struggle with chemotherapy side effects and damaged blood vessels.
Lee Sol-yi, the wife of comedian Park Sung-kwang, has shared an update revealing that she has returned to the hospital due to persistent side effects following chemotherapy. Amidst a schedule of ongoing treatments and examinations following her battle with illness, the physical burden on her body continues to accumulate.

On the 5th, Lee Sol-yi shared her daily life at the hospital through her social media account, posting, “At the hospital all day. There are so many tests today that I won't be heading home until the evening.” She further shared her current situation, noting that she is facing multiple examinations and that her treatment process is still ongoing.
In particular, she added to the sadness of the situation by directly mentioning that her vascular condition has worsened due to chemotherapy. Lee Sol-yi explained her current state, saying, “I have to get many injections today, but I’ve already used two spots. Since the left blood vessel melted due to chemotherapy, I can't use it, so I've been poking the right side for years, and it's not holding up anymore.”
Despite the difficult circumstances, she maintained a relatively calm attitude. Using a touch of humor to express the difficulties of the treatment process, Lee Sol-yi remarked, “But if there's nothing, I can even poke the top of my foot; there's always a way... if you don't have teeth, you use your gums.”
Lee Sol-yi married comedian Park Sung-kwang in 2020, and the couple drew significant attention by revealing their daily lives through the SBS variety show "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny." Later, she received widespread support and encouragement after confessing her battle with female cancer and revealing that she underwent surgery and chemotherapy.
While she is currently continuing her activities as an influencer as her health gradually recovers, it appears that the side effects of the treatment process are still persisting.
