Lee Sol-yi, Wife of Park Sung-kwang, Suffers Vascular Damage After Chemotherapy—Visiting Her Former Workplace as a Patient

Lee Sol-yi, the wife of comedian Park Sung-kwang, has revealed the physical aftereffects caused during her past chemotherapy treatment and her ongoing health management process. She is drawing significant attention as she shares her complex emotions regarding her experience of visiting the hospital for a long time for treatment, and now returning to the very hospital where she previously worked as a patient.

On the 6th, Lee Sol-yi shared her recent status of visiting a hospital through her social media (SNS) story.

She posted a photo of herself undergoing an examination with the caption, "There are so many test items today that I won't be heading home until the evening." In the revealed photo, Lee Sol-yi showed herself preparing for tests at a medical institution along with traces of receiving injections, indicating that she is currently managing her health status.

Lee Sol-yi revealed her arm with injection marks, saying, "I have to get many injections today, but I've already used two spots." She further explained that vascular damage occurred during her past chemotherapy, stating, "The left vein, which melted due to chemotherapy, cannot be used, so I have been poking only the right side for several years."

She added, "But there is also a way to poke the top of the foot. If you don't have teeth, you use your gums to check," showing a positive attitude toward managing her health even in difficult situations.

Lee Sol-yi had previously revealed a special connection to the hospital where she is receiving treatment. Last August, she shared via SNS, "This is the hospital I worked at in 2011, but now I am coming here for treatment. You never know how life turns out," describing the situation of returning to the medical institution where she once worked as a patient.
