Kim Ji-hyun, a doctor and graduate of the Seoul National University College of Medicine, has revealed the secret to how she successfully lost 30kg and has maintained her weight long-term.

On the Channel A entertainment program 'Birth of a Body God' broadcast on the 7th, Kim appeared to share her dieting experiences and weight management methods.
Upon Kim's slender appearance in the studio, the cast members could not hide their surprise, asking, "Are you a model?" She confessed, "My weight began to increase after I stopped exercising in middle school," adding, "For a long time, my weight fluctuated repeatedly, and I tried various diets."
She recalled, "I have tried almost everything, from medication prescriptions to fat-dissolving procedures," noting, "The cost I spent on dieting was enough to equal the price of a car."
Kim brought large-sized medical scrubs she used to wear to compare her transformed physique. Seeing this, the cast members expressed admiration, saying, "A leg could fit into the empty space."
However, the secret to weight loss she discovered after many trials and errors was not extreme food restriction.
The broadcast introduced the '15-Fit Diet' exercise method, which consists of movements such as Bird-Dog, squats, and arm lifts with leg extensions for about 15 minutes a day. Additionally, the core strategy presented was consuming meals regularly rather than skipping them.
The program explained that if excessive fasting and intense exercise are repeated, the body may adapt by conserving energy, which can decrease fat-burning efficiency. Accordingly, it emphasized that rather than pursuing unreasonable weight loss, it is important to create a physical environment that effectively utilizes body fat through steady exercise and regular eating habits.
Kim explained that she succeeded in both losing and maintaining weight by practicing a lifestyle consisting of 15 minutes of daily exercise and four meals a day, alongside trainer Kang Dong-yeop.
