Maeng Seung-ji's doctor boyfriend forgets car at Jeju Island airport

Comedian Maeng Seung-ji is enjoying a lighthearted public romance, recently sharing a ridiculous blunder she and her boyfriend—known to be a doctor—made on Jeju Island.

On the 17th, Maeng shared the anecdote on her SNS, writing, “They say people who are alike end up together, and I think that's true.”

The incident began immediately after returning to Seoul from Jeju Island. Maeng described the situation, saying, “I came from Jeju with my boyfriend yesterday, and we waited a long time because we couldn't catch a taxi at the airport. We were both incredibly happy when we finally caught a Kakao Taxi.”

The problem arose the following day. When her boyfriend called for a taxi to return to the airport, Maeng expressed confusion, as she saw no reason to take a taxi if they had their own vehicle available.

However, her boyfriend's response was unexpected: “We left our car at the airport yesterday.”

It turns out the couple had completely forgotten they left their vehicle at the airport when traveling from Jeju to Seoul. They eventually had to head back to the airport to retrieve the car they had inadvertently left behind.

Maeng burst into laughter, saying, “We went to the airport today to pick up the car, and it really feels like we are the same kind of people, right..? Haha.” She added, “Is there any other couple like us who forgets they left their car at the airport, waits a long time for a taxi, and then gets in with a giggle..?” playfully sharing their clumsy daily life.

Recently, Maeng has been naturally revealing her new relationship by publicly acknowledging her boyfriend.

Previously, she shared an affectionate photo with a man alongside the caption, “The person who chatters with me the most.” In the photo, the two are close, with their faces touching, and the boyfriend is seen kissing Maeng's cheek.

Following these public displays of affection, acquaintances left supportive comments such as “Congratulations” and “It looks good, I'm excited.” Her boyfriend also participated in the public romance by sharing Maeng's post on his own SNS.
