Oh Eun-young reveals slimmer look after 'My Golden Kids' ends

Mental health specialist and broadcaster Oh Eun-young has shared a recent update featuring an unrecognizably transformed appearance. Having connected with the public through broadcasting for many years, she has drawn significant attention from fans by appearing noticeably slimmer.

On the 4th, Oh appeared on actress Ko So Young's YouTube channel. During a liquor brand event, Ko met Oh and exchanged warm greetings, immediately noticing Oh's changed appearance.

Upon seeing her, Ko exclaimed, "You are so slim." In response, Oh placed her hands on her waist and replied, "I am slim," drawing laughter. The natural conversation between the two reflected a comfortable atmosphere stemming from their long-standing friendship.

Oh also complimented Ko's recent changes, noting, "You look prettier with your hair cut." She later shared a warm hug and greetings with Ko's husband, actor Jang Dong-geon. The natural interaction between the three showcased a more personal, everyday side of Oh.

Most eye-catching of all was Oh's dietary habits. The video featured a subtitle stating, "I quit fruit," hinting at her recent lifestyle changes.

Oh was seen enjoying the food Ko offered, saying, "It's delicious," and was also captured enjoying a beer. Rather than practicing extreme fasting or avoiding food altogether, she appeared to be regulating her eating habits while still maintaining everyday pleasures.

Since last year, Oh has been open about her weight management. On her own channel, she explained that her weight gain occurred during a period after opening her clinic when her workload became excessive.

She previously confessed, "I was originally slim, but after opening the clinic, there was too much work. Patients would come until dawn. When I came home after that, I would binge on fruit instead of meals. That is how I gained weight."

Ultimately, this transformation goes beyond mere aesthetics. It is meaningful that an expert who has spent years examining the hearts and family issues of others has also begun to focus on her own lifestyle and physical well-being.

Born in 1965, Oh has earned widespread public love by counseling parents and children on Channel A's "My Golden Kids." She earned the title of "National Parenting Mentor" thanks to her sharp analysis and warm empathy.

However, "My Golden Kids," which ran for six years, concluded this past June. Upon the show's conclusion, Oh announced her future plans, stating, "I will reorganize myself and come back to see you again."

Her recent appearance, revealed after stepping away from the show, has drawn even more interest. Fans are eager to see how Oh, now appearing much lighter, will present herself to the public in her next chapter.
