Park Mi Sun Shares New Life Philosophy After 16 Rounds of Chemotherapy: 'Delicious Food is Everything'
Comedian Park Mi Sun reveals how her battle with breast cancer has changed her perspective on food and health on her YouTube channel Mi-seon Impossible.
On the 18th, comedian Park Mi Sun revealed on the YouTube channel 'Mi-seon Impossible' that her values regarding food have changed after her battle with cancer.

While visiting a regular Pyongyang Naengmyeon restaurant, Park Mi Sun expressed her admiration after tasting the seokbakji (radish kimchi) served before the meal. "It is perfectly ripe kkakdugi. It's so delicious. It really whets my appetite. My dead appetite is coming back to life. I wish my appetite would stop coming back so much," she said, expressing concern about gaining weight.
She continued with determination, saying, "These days, I search for famous restaurants a lot. I wasn't that interested in delicious food before, but now, even for a single meal, I look for something tasty. Just like what Sunwoo Yong Nyeo's mother said, there's nothing left for me to buy like clothes. From now on, I'm going to invest in eating delicious food."
On the 9th, during MBN's 'Namui Jip Gwihan Gajok' (Precious Family of Others), she had previously stated, "Lately, when I eat something delicious, I think, 'I should get healthy so I can eat lots of delicious things.' Now, I really want to live eating good, delicious things that are good for my body without being stingy about what goes into me."
However, she noted that she prioritizes health management, adding, "Instead, I almost never touch meat grilled over charcoal or hams and sausages that contain many additives."
Park Mi Sun was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in December 2024 and suspended her broadcasting activities. Since then, she has been recovering after undergoing surgery, 16 rounds of chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.
