Park Soo Hong and Kim Da Ye take train trip to Busan

“This time, it was a train.” Park Soo Hong and Kim Da Ye, a couple who had temporarily paused sharing their family's daily life following a recent flight delay controversy, visited Busan with their daughter Jae Yi. The family trip video was released approximately one month after the controversy.

On the 28th, a video titled "We came back to Busan two years after she was in her mother's womb. 23-month-old Jae Yi's Busan trip" was uploaded to the YouTube channel Park Soo Hong Is Happy. Park Soo Hong headed to Busan by train instead of plane, accompanied by his wife Kim Da Ye and daughter Jae Yi.

On the train, Jae Yi spent time playing with stickers while being held in her father's arms. She soon fell asleep, and Park smiled while looking at his daughter's face, saying, "You have no idea how pretty she looks when she sleeps." The video captured the ordinary moments of the family of three.

After arriving in Busan, they had a meal and took a walk along the beach. As if facing the sea for the first time, Jae Yi showed a curious expression, repeatedly shouting, "It's the sea!" Park smiled brightly while watching his daughter, and Kim expressed her emotions about returning to Busan—a place she visited while heavily pregnant—now with her child.

The trip drew even more attention due to the flight delay controversy that arose last month. At the time, while on a flight to Guam with their daughter, the couple expressed their intention to disembark when the child began to cry, but then stated they would re-board after the child stopped crying. During this process, claims spread online that the flight departure was delayed as checked baggage procedures had to be re-processed. The flight in question reportedly departed approximately 1 hour later than scheduled.

As the controversy grew, Park apologized via SNS, stating, "We caused great inconvenience and took away the precious time of many people." He explained that he expressed his intention to disembark because he was concerned that the child's crying might disturb other passengers during the long flight, but the situation escalated due to his lack of understanding regarding aviation-related procedures.

Following this, Park and his wife temporarily paused their SNS and YouTube activities. The Park Soo Hong Is Happy videos, which were released every Monday, also took two breaks. After resuming activities on the 14th, 19 days after the controversy occurred, they have now shown the family's daily life again by revealing this Busan trip. Park and Kim, who married in 2021, welcomed their daughter Jae Yi in 2024 after undergoing IVF treatment.
