S.E.S. Shu reacts to sagging skin in bare-faced reveal
Former S.E.S. member Shu shares her honest reaction to her skin condition on Channel A's 'Beauty Clinic Touch Me'.
Former S.E.S. member Shu drew attention with her candid reaction, asking, "What's happening to my face?" after confronting her bare face. As she revealed lifestyle habits that were far from a regular self-care routine, interest is mounting on how the 44-year-old's skin condition will transform.

A preview video announcing Shu's appearance was released at the end of the Channel A program 'Beauty Clinic Touch Me' broadcast on the 7th.
In the video, Shu stood before a mirror with almost no makeup, examining her face closely. After studying her reflection for a moment, she could not hide her surprise, exclaiming, "What's happening to my face?"
An acquaintance watching the scene provided a blunt assessment. Observing Shu's face, they remarked, "Your face is sagging, and wrinkles are visible even when you are just resting."
The episode also captured daily habits that could negatively impact skin health. Shu was seen performing DIY construction in a dusty environment without a mask and enjoying tanning under intense outdoor sunlight. She also surprised the cast by showing that she cleanses her skin using only cleansing tissues.
An expert's diagnosis followed. After examining Shu's skin, the doctor noted the overall state of her face, including sagging and asymmetry, stating, "There are many areas that need attention."
Following the diagnosis, Shu began a consistent skincare regimen with professional help. When she appeared in the studio after the treatment, the cast members were visibly surprised, exclaiming, "S.E.S. is back!"
As Shu, once a member of a girl group that represented the Republic of Korea, honestly reveals her current appearance in her 40s and documents her management process, viewers are eager to see the results on screen.
Shu has faced various plastic surgery rumors regarding her appearance in the past. Last March, she drew attention by sharing her recovery process on SNS, including her red skin and bare face immediately following laser treatment. While her candidness garnered interest at the time, she later deleted the posts.
Born in 1981, Shu married basketball player Lim Hyo-seong in 2012, and they have one son and two daughters.
