Yoon Taek said, “Not long ago, I heard the story of a mother living alone in a place like a ghost house, an empty house on Wolho Island, Yeosu. It was such a desolate house that you couldn't feel any human warmth.” After seeing the main room where the ceiling looked as if it might collapse, he asked, “Mother, do you sleep here?”

The elderly woman said, “After my husband passed away and my eldest son died, I haven't even heard news from my youngest son.” Yoon Taek gathered the living room belongings into one room and announced the work plan, saying, “We will also lay new flooring. When your son comes, I will make sure he can stay there.”

At the site, about 30 people whom Yoon Taek calls the 'Remote Area: Volunteer Group' gathered. Technicians in various fields, including wallpapering, carpentry, floor heating, painting, electricity, waterproofing, and insect screens, joined from all parts of the country.

Yoon Taek personally handed 1 million won to the village head as a village development fund, 1 million won to the women's association that prepared the meals, and 1 million won to the elderly woman as pocket money.

Yoon Taek experienced a second heyday through MBN's 'I Am a Natural Person,' which first aired in August 2012. In an interview, he set a deadline for his time as a 'natural person,' saying, “Personally, I intended to do it for only 10 years, but it has been 15 years. I will do it until 20 years and then leave.” MBN's long-running hit program, 'I Am a Natural Person,' is a documentary variety show where comedian Lee Seung-yoon and Yoon Taek visit remote areas to spend a day with people living isolated lives in nature.
