Hwang Jung-eum Reveals Expensive Chair Belonging to Ex-Husband
Actress Hwang Jung-eum shares a glimpse of her new home on YouTube, revealing a sentimental red chair used for over 10 years.
Actress Hwang Jung-eum revealed a chair belonging to her ex-husband that she had used for over 10 years while showing off her new home. On the 26th, Hwang Jung-eum shared the interior of her newly moved-in house on her YouTube channel. Throughout the living room, there were plants personally grown by her mother. The overall atmosphere was warm and comfortable.

The production crew pointed to a red chair placed in a corner of the living room and asked, “Why didn't you throw this away and bring it with you?” Hwang Jung-eum laughed and replied, “I brought it with me. I think it’s been about 10 years,” while stroking the chair as if it were precious.
Regarding a green chair of the same design, she said, “Back then, it was furniture for a newlywed couple, so we bought them as a set,” but she hesitated for a moment. It was an awkward situation to mention her ex-husband.
She explained that there were many reasons why she hadn't thrown it away, saying, “The reason I didn't throw it away is because it's so comfortable. It's really comfortable to lean back and watch TV. And it's also very expensive. It doesn't look like it, right? It's actually very expensive.”
Regarding the reason she bought the red chair, she noted that her perspective has changed, saying, “At the time, I bought it because fortune telling said red was good. If I were to buy one now, I think I would choose a natural color like beige or gray.”
Hwang Jung-eum is raising her two sons herself after divorcing from businessman and former professional golfer Lee Young-don.
