Kim Myung-soo searches for missing Kang Min-ah in 'Sympathetic Cells' finale

After discovering a shocking truth tied to a past incident, Kang Min-ah suddenly vanishes. Kim Myung-soo belatedly sets out to find her traces, continuing a love that remains turbulent until the very end.

In the final episode of the weekend drama 'Sympathetic Cells' (written by Jeongyeon and Kim Seong-rae, directed by Kim Chil-bong), which airs on Lifetime at 10:50 PM on the 26th, an unexpected individual appears to shake the relationship between Cha Eun-hwan (Kim Myung-soo) and Yu Ji-an (Kang Min-ah).

In previous episodes, Yu Ji-an was able to escape false accusations of power abuse with the help of Cha Eun-hwan. It was revealed that Kim Joon-sik (Jung Hee-tae), the former agency CEO, had spread the controversy, and the original whistleblower, former stylist Shin Mi-jeong (Chaewon), confessed that the problematic video was actually a script rehearsal rather than a real instance of abuse.

However, the crisis did not end there. As Yu Ji-an's mother, Choi Jeong-mi (Son Ji-na), who is obsessed with success, begins investigating Cha Eun-hwan's background, a new sense of anxiety casts a shadow over the two. In particular, Yu Ji-an faces an unbearable truth as she regains the memory that Cha Eun-hwan's father lost his life while trying to save her in the past.

Scenes released ahead of the final episode show the precarious relationship between the two continuing. Previously, Cha Eun-hwan felt burdened by Yu Ji-an, who perceived all of his emotions, and pushed her away, but he ultimately cannot ignore her sorrowful gaze. Yu Ji-an also sheds tears while facing Cha Eun-hwan, yet she cannot easily bring up the fact that she has learned about the past tragedy.

At the moment heavy emotions flow between the two, the atmosphere changes abruptly with intense headlight beams. As Yu Ji-an freezes upon identifying the person in the driver's seat, it foreshadows that another incident is about to occur.

Following the appearance of the unexpected individual, Yu Ji-an becomes embroiled in trouble once again and faces public condemnation. Ultimately, she chooses to leave to escape a reality that is too difficult to endure. Reflecting on how harshly he had treated Yu Ji-an, Cha Eun-hwan sets out to find her, but their paths rarely meet.

The final episode will reveal whether Cha Eun-hwan and Yu Ji-an, having passed through past tragedies and present misunderstandings, can finally reach each other, and what conclusion the love of these two, who have repeatedly crossed paths, will meet.
