Hwang Jung-eum Reveals Unfiltered Home Life: Messy Rooms and Eating Food from the Ground

On the 17th, actress Hwang Jung-eum revealed a side of herself that was more than just easygoing, appearing quite unhygienic on her YouTube channel.

Hwang Jung-eum served lunch to the production crew at her home. When the crew asked, "Do you have any intention of cleaning the windows?" Hwang Jung-eum firmly replied, "No."

As the crew observed her in the kitchen, they remarked, "The household items are all over the place." Hwang Jung-eum countered, "No, this is organized," as she opened all the kitchen drawers to show them, though the sheer amount of tableware made it look anything but organized.

When the crew failed to react, Hwang Jung-eum lured the camera to the second floor, saying, "You'll be even more surprised if you go to the second floor." In her dressing room, massive piles of clothes were stacked high, and wet clothes were spread across the floor. Her winter clothes were piled in plastic inside a small storage corner in the room.

The bedroom was no different. Bedding, bags, and clothes were scattered everywhere. She also bathed her two pet dogs, but the puppies resisted, running out of the bathroom while soaking wet and turning the house into a water park.

After her children finished daycare, she went for a walk at Namsan with acquaintances. While preoccupied with conversation, a piece of cotton candy fell to the ground; without hesitation, she picked it up and gave it to her second son. Although her son refused, saying, "Mom, it's dirty," Hwang Jung-eum ignored him and ate it herself.

Hwang Jung-eum married former professional golfer and businessman Lee Young-don in 2016 and gave birth to her first son. They faced a divorce crisis in 2020 but reunited in 2021 and had a second son in 2022. However, they divorced last February.
